Kelley Stevens is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a private practice in Santa Barbara. Kelley specializes in working with teens, young adults, and families. She received her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University and her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Carleton College.
Prior to working in private practice, Kelley worked with adults and teens struggling with a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, personality disorders, OCD, psychotic disorders, and substance abuse issues. Kelley has worked with teens, adults, and their families in inpatient, outpatient, and hospital-based programs.
Kelley creates a space where teens and adults feel safe to discuss and create change. Kelley partners with her clients to help them find the strength, hope, and resiliency to overcome challenges. She believes that life's challenges are an opportunity to explore current barriers, identify new goals, and work toward achieving long-term life goals.
Kelley served as an adjunct faculty member in Pepperdine University's Graduate School of Education and Psychology. Kelley's love for helping clients achieve their goals inspired her to teach aspiring therapists. Kelley has a passion for helping clinicians develop both clinically and professionally.
Kelley grew up in Santa Barbara, California and she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Kelley spends every moment she can outdoors and loves biking, camping, canoeing, and just being in nature. She loves doing yoga, hiking, and playing at the beach with her dog, Penny.
